These photos were sent to us by Mo. We created her Las Vegas wedding invitations a few months ago.

She was looking for inspiration to add a pop of color to her wedding reception tables. Then she saw the wedding invitations we made for her, and had an idea…to use the tag and ribbon as a napkin band.

We loved how it turned out. Mo’s wedding decor is filled with many handmade touches that came together very well.

Happy Inspiration!

Champagne and Gray Sand Dollar Wedding Invitations

champagne and gray sand dollar wedding invitation

This beach wedding invitation set took us by surprise.

The colors were very subtle: champagne, gray and just a touch of navy. But once they were all assembled we were in love with this color palette.

It’s really elegant. And happily the couple we created these for loved them as much as we did.

Happy Inspiration!

Baby Blue and Gray Baptism Belly Band Invitation

Posted by in Color Advice, Our Designs

elegant blue and gray baptism invitation

Although most of our designs are used for weddings. They don’t have to be.

Today, we want to share these Indian arch monogram invitations that were used as a Baptism invitation for a baby boy. The mom wanted something modern yet definitely for a boy. So she chose a baby blue and gray color palette. And we used the baby’s first initial for the monogram.

We loved how these turned out.

Sara, the mom was happy too. She says, “These baptism invitations were stunning and absolutely more than I imagined. I cannot wait to get the reaction of my guests.”

pink Indian elephant wedding invitation set

We have been working hard over the last few months on many weddings, showers and birthday invitations and stationery.

Our favorite part? The fun and beautiful colors our clients come up with. Over the coming weeks, we want to share with you our favorites, and hope they inspire your own wonderful creations.

Today, we want to share a wedding invitation using our Indian elephant flap fold design with information booklet. The bride chose a mix of antique gold, fuchsia and pink for a lovely combination that’s an updated, more springy alternative to red and gold for an Indian wedding.

Happy Inspiration!

Indian Archways and Architecture Wedding Inspiration

Indian archway wedding inspiration

When planning a wedding, choosing a theme that ties your various design elements together can actually simplify your choices by focusing your decision making.  For Indian weddings there are design options, besides color, that can you can use to pull your wedding look together.

One way to evoke Indian is to celebrate its architecture with wedding elements inspired by archways.

Beyond the mandap, arches can be part of your wedding by covering the aisle or the guest seating. With more or less detail, and depending on the material you use, your ceremony arches can be modern or traditional. More detail and colors will have a more traditional look, like the top photo. While simpler shapes and a more scaled back design in one color will read as modern.

Archways can be decorative symbols on your wedding cake, other desserts or favors. In the cake above it’s combined with paisely, floral and other design elements to make it truly special. You can add your own whimsy, shapes and colors to have fun with arches.

Arches can also be woven through your reception stationery, such as on wedding programs, table numbers, escort cards and menus.

And don’t forget your wedding  jewelry. I love how these jewels frame the face and create an archway with the shape of their design.
