Shower invitation can be done in a variety of colors. So you can make it your own.

Ready to wake up your bridal shower planning? Then think fun colors!

We recently worked on a beach theme bridal shower featuring orange and aqua.

With our belly band wrap palm tree invitation there were so many different places for color (invite, wrap, tag, ribbon and envelope with address wrap label) that we were able to make something really lively with just 2 colors:

Set the Stage for Your Bridal Shower

By using the same colors on your invitations as with the rest of your shower, you tie the entire event together.

Tags and ribbon add an extra dimension of color — and personalization

Don’t forget the envelope! You can tie the design together with color or a designed label.

The Delight is in the Details

We used the orange tags to contrast against the aqua belly band wrap. And even the envelope matched the theme, with color and a return address wrap that matched the bridal shower invitation.

We enjoyed making this bold southwest inspired color palette for our Mexican Talavera Tile Wedding invitation.

Ashley wanted more muted tones to coordinate with her wedding. We worked with her to figure out a color combination that she would love. The result was an orange, mustard yellow and navy palette with navy ribbon and envelopes.

Sometimes you can be creative when mixing your preferences and that of your soon to be spouse.

With the case of these save the date bookmarks, the bride loved fuchsia and her bridesmaids were wearing plums and purples. But the groom loved orange.

What to do?

We used them all! There’s a little orange in the design, but mostly it’s used for the envelope.

Mixing colors like this works well on designs that can handle a lot of color. And when the color combination still works for the mood you are trying to create.

For example, an orange, purple and fuchsia color palette works great for a bold, fun wedding. But probably not so well for traditional or formal weddings.

These lovely pictures were sent to us by the bride Louise, who was having a vintage inspired wedding.

Louise’s coral pink and gray color palette work well for her theme. We made place tags as luggage tags featuring a vintage map.

We love her presentation in this vintage suitcase. And she even named her table after cities. It really pulls the entire theme together.

Our vintage world map wedding invitation design has taken on many looks when the couples request a map from another country or state.

This time it was from California, in a lovely blush pink, champagne and navy combination. We liked how it turned out so much that we think you’ll be seeing it in our shop soon!
